What You Need Before Starting

Step 1: Identify Your Fire TV Model
Open Settings → My Fire TV → About and note the device name and software version.
Most older models use Android-based Fire OS. The Fire TV Stick 4K Select uses Vega OS and requires compatible Vega or Fire TV applications. An ordinary Android APK should not be assumed to work on Vega OS.
Step 2: Search the Amazon Appstore first. Installing the player from the Amazon Appstore is the preferred method. Avoid similarly named apps from unfamiliar developers.

- 1For Xtream Codes: Add User, enter profile name, username, password and server address including http:// or https://, then Login.
- 2For M3U: Add Playlist, paste the complete M3U URL, add the EPG link if separately supplied and save.
- 3An M3U link can contain your private account credentials. Do not share screenshots displaying the complete URL.
- 4After logging in, set the correct UK time zone, refresh the programme guide and test a live stream and on-demand title.
- 5Use the wall adapter, improve Wi-Fi with the HDMI extender, keep storage available and restart the device if needed.
Common Setup Problems
- 1Invalid login — check spelling, capital letters, symbols, spaces and the complete server address.
- 2No channels loading — refresh the playlist, check account expiry and confirm the Firestick is online.
- 3Every channel buffers — run a speed test on the Firestick, restart the router and test a lower-resolution stream.
- 4One channel not working — try another channel in the same category and report the affected channel and time.

- 6Downloader cannot install — confirm Fire OS, permission enabled, enough storage and a compatible file.
